KIDOWS! Kids' window painting event Saturday at 21 downtown businesses

The first ever KIDOWS! Window painting event takes place this Saturday, October 16, 10-2pm at participating businesses. School-aged kids can show up at Fired Up! on 112 S. Linn St, opposite the library, and be assigned to a spot. Or, if kids and parents already have a relationship with a participating business, they can show up there. All paints and tools provided, but wear clothes that might not mind being embellished with a red splash. Store staff will supervise painting but parents are encouraged to accompany their children as no childcare is provided.  The 21 participating businesses include Textiles, RSVP, Hamburg Inn, Teaspoons, Pagliai's Pizza, Murphy Brookfield Books, G Spot Hair Design, Revival, MC Ginsberg, Domby, Eadology, Discerning Eye, Home Workshop, Om, Fired Up, Iowa Artisans Gallery & DJ RInner Goldsmith, Bella Joli, Lorenz 2.0, Inbox and Buzz.  Stop by- the weather looks like it will be fabulous!
